Links

Interested in my interests? Probably not, you say? Well, that's too bad. Here's a fairly comprehensive list of the sites I tend to visit on a regular basis, mixed in with some friends of cdonohue.com. That's me to the left taking a break for surfing the InterWeb, or the series of tubes that make it up.

Enjoy the links, and if you have a blog or personal site you'd like me to push, send me an e-mail, and I'll include it on this page.

The Washington Post is the premier source for news in the United States. Move over New York Times.
The Baltimore Sun does the best job of covering the news in Maryland.
CNN.com is a quick and easy way to get all the national and international news you need.
MSNBC.com is another place to find quick news hits.
I wouldn't be a loyal freelancer if I didn't provide the link to my newspaper, the Memphis Commercial Appeal.
News Web Sites
ESPN.com is the premier source for sports information. Too bad a lot of what's posted on the site requires payment.
CNNSI.com has a great stable of writers and is second only to ESPN in its sports news production. All the material is free, except for the stuff that appears in the magazine.
Foxsports.com is probably the lowest rung on the ladder of sports web sites. Their baseball insiders, though, are quite good, and they don't ask that you pay for their insider information.
Navigate to the Baltimore Orioles official web site. It'll be getting a lot of traffic after the Orioles win the AL East in 2007. (I can dream.)
Here, you have access to the offical site of the Washington Wizards, a top team in the Eastern Conference.
The Washington Redskins had a bad year, but that doesn't mean their web site shuts down.
The Washington Capitals undulate between being pretty good and pretty awful. Their web site, though, is consistently named tops in the NHL.
